Where will the forum sessions be held?

The forum sessions will be held at the Denarau Convention Centre within the Sheraton Fiji from 13 - 16 August 2023.

Member and Non Member Delegate Registration includes:

What is the dress code for the forum?

During the forum days, smart casual attire is preferred.

For the Welcome Reception, smart casual attire is recommended and for the Forum Dinner, lounge suit/evening wear is recommended.

What is the climate in August in Fiji?

Fiji has a warm tropical climate with the average high temperature reaching 28.7°C (83.6°F) and reaching a minimum 18.4°C (65.1°F) in the evening. A cool breeze comes from the east south-east for most of the year. The wet season falls between November to April so August is the perfect time to visit beautiful Fiji.

Can I bring extra guests to the social functions?

Yes, extra tickets to both the Welcome Reception and the Forum Dinner can be purchased up until DATE TBA. You can select the additional tickets when registering for the forum.

Additional Welcome Reception tickets can be purchased for $TBA per ticket and additional Forum Dinner tickets can be purchased for $TBA per ticket.

How do I register for the forum?

Registrations are accepted via the registration page on this website. Please click on the link below to be redirected to the registration page.

When does Early Bird registration end?

Early Bird Registration fees are available up until DATE TBA.

What is the cut-off date to register online?

Late registration fees are available through until DATE TBA. Registration will be available onsite after this date at the late registration prices.

I need to cancel; is there a cancellation policy?

Delegates who find themselves unable to attend the forum after submitting a registration form are most welcome to nominate a substitute. In the case of a cancellation, delegates must inform Consec - Conference and Event Management in writing of their inability to attend. A refund of the registration fee, less a cancellation fee of $110.00 (AUD) including GST will be made on or before DATE TBA.

NO refunds will be made to anything after the DATE TBA.

All refunds prior to DATE TBA will be made after the forum. Any changes made to a registration within seven (7) days of the forum will incur a $40.00 administrative fee.

Will my details be published in the delegate list?

In registering for this forum, relevant details will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates (name and organisation only - in accordance with the Australian National Privacy Act), and may be made available to parties directly related to the forum including Consec - Conference and Event Management, the Forum Organising Committee, venues and accommodation providers (for the purposes of room bookings and forum options), key sponsors (subject to strict conditions) and parties associated with related conferences.

Where do I find further information about obtaining a visa letter to attend the conference?

Nationals from the following countries are NOT required to obtain a visa before entering Fiji as a visitor.

However, the following conditions must be met:

1. A valid passport for at least six (6) months beyond the intended period of stay
2. Return ticket or onward travel to another country, which you are authorised to 3. enter is required
4. Confirmation of accommodation for the duration of your visit
5. Must have sufficient funds to sustain his/her duration of stay.

Visitor permits are granted on arrival for a stay of four (4) months or less for nationals of:

Nationals of other countries not listed above are required to pre-arrange a visa, which can be applied for at the nearest Fiji High Commission in the delegates respective country. Visa applications can be directly lodged at the nearest Fiji High Commission or embassy offices stationed abroad.

What security is available for online payments?

PCI Compliance - Security of the Cardholders Account Data

Consec's online payment system is PCI (payment card industry) version 3 level 1 compliant - this is the highest standard possible.

Within this certification, our payment system is required to:

  • Perform yearly onsite audits by a PCI DSS QSA
  • Perform external penetration tests of our sites once a year
  • Perform internal/ external vulnerability tests once a quarter
  • Program guard against the top ten internet vulnerabilities called OWASP top 10.
  • Deploy a Web Application Firewall which inspects every packed (data intrusion, SQL injection, Request Site Forgery XSS..)
  • Deploy file integrity monitors
  • Safe log files and guard log files against tampering
  • Double encrypt sensitive data once with Rijindael 128bit and a second time RSA 2048 bit key length
  • Follow separation of keys
  • Lock keys in an unreachable vault
  • Recycle passwords every 90 days
  • Perform background checks for new employees with the Federal Crime Authority
  • Employ development lifecycle processes and procedures
  • Onboard/offboard employees

Do I need to wear a name badge?

Your name badge is your entry to the 5th South Pacific ORL Forum 2023 sessions and trade exhibition.

If you misplace your name badge, please see the Consec - Conference and Event Management staff at the registration desk for a replacement.

No Smoking Policy?

Non-smoking applies to all public areas at The Denarau Convention Centre and the Sheraton Fiji.

Designated smoking areas are in place. Smoking in all public areas is prohibited.

Do I need personal insurance?

Delegates shall be regarded in every aspect as carrying their own risk for loss or injury to persons or property, including baggage during the 5th South Pacific ORL Forum 2023.

We strongly recommend that at the time of booking your travel and tours you take out a travel insurance policy of your choice.

The policy should include the loss of deposit through cancellation, medical insurance, loss or damage to personal property, financial loss incurred through disruptions to accommodation or travel arrangements due to strikes or other industrial action.

The organisers are in no way responsible for any claims concerning insurance.

What does the Goods and Services Tax (GST) mean?

A goods and services tax of 10% is levied on most purchases in Australia and is included in the purchase price of the goods or services.
